Anti-harassment workshop

Preventing harassment and violence in laboratories

The workshop begins with a clear presentation of the different forms of harassment in the workplace - moral, sexual, sexist and discriminatory - and their impact on individuals and organizations. Participants learn to distinguish these situations from ordinary conflicts, to identify abusive behavior, and to integrate the essential legal points of reference: laws in force, prevention obligations and employer responsibilities, and the role of the different players.

Through interactive exchanges with the participants, we also address the psychological mechanisms of harassment, the bystander effect, stereotypes, as well as the profiles of the harasser and the victim. The workshop concludes with a concrete presentation of warning systems and the right reflexes to adopt in order to effectively detect and report a worrying situation, and direct the word to the right people.
