Mini-colloque 23 – MC23

Muographie au service de la societe et autres sciences
Division Champs & Particules
Cristina Carloganu (LPCA), David Attie (CEA)

The aim of this mini-conference is to explore the potential of muography, an innovative imaging technique based on the detection of muons, for the benefit of society and other scientific fields. Used to study large structures such as volcanoes, nuclear power plants or tunnels, muography provides precise images of the interior of these inaccessible environments, offering unique perspectives for natural risk management, infrastructure monitoring and geophysical research. This meeting will provide an opportunity to share the latest technological advances, explore practical applications and discuss the societal implications of this revolutionary technology.
