International Year of Quantum Science and Technology - IYQ

The UN has proclaimed 2025 as the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology (IYQ).

The declaration recognizes the potential of quantum science to drive innovations in sustainable development and global communications.

This year-long global initiative will celebrate the contributions of quantum science to technological progress over the last century, raise awareness of its importance for sustainable development in the 21st century, and ensure that all nations have access to quantum education and the opportunities it offers.

IYQ will be celebrated at the Congrès Général de la Société Française de Physique in Troyes in 2025, with its Quantum Village featuring quantum physics experiments, a general public conference, a quantum physics-related art exhibition, exhibitors from the quantum industry and related surprises!
