Programm and Mini colloquiums abstract > MC01: 2D materials and heterostructures

Mini-colloquim 1 – MC01

2D materials and heterostructures
Division de la Matière Condensée
Organisateur :Jean-François Dayen (IPCMS - Université de Strasbourg), Laurent Lombez (LPCNO - INSA Toulouse)

This mini-colloquium focuses on two-dimensional monolayer materials and Van der Waals heterostructures, formed by the assembly of these 2D materials. Following the example of research into graphene and transition metal dichalcogenides, these materials shows an immense interest in nanoscience due to their accessibility and the wealth of new physical properties they reveal, particularly in electronics, optics and thermodynamics.
